It explains how FAMBUL GLOBAL (“FAMBUL GLOBAL,” “we,” “our,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our platform, book experiences, purchase merchandise, or otherwise engage with us.
Data Controller: Leone Investments LLC, a New York limited liability company with offices at 90 State Street, Suite 700, Office 40, Albany, NY 12207, USA, acts as the data controller for all processing activities.
We comply with the New York SHIELD Act, U.S. federal and state privacy laws, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, Brazil’s LGPD, Singapore’s PDPA, Hong Kong’s PDPO, and other applicable international frameworks.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal data:
Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, billing address, date of birth, nationality, and passport details (where required for travel).
Payment Information: Processed securely by our third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, Paystack). We do not store full credit card details.
Booking Information: Travel preferences, accommodation options, room selections, itineraries, or special requirements.
Health and Insurance Information: Medical conditions, dietary needs, accessibility requirements, and proof of travel insurance where required. This data is encrypted in storage and accessible only to staff who require it.
Technical Information: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and cookies or similar technologies.
Communications: Emails, messages, reviews, or feedback you send us.
Media Data: Photos, videos, or audio recordings taken during Experiences. By booking, you consent to our use of these for FAMBUL GLOBAL’s marketing, promotional, or editorial purposes. Such use is royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, and without compensation.
For minors, parents or legal guardians must provide verifiable consent before any promotional use.
For EU/UK residents, we will request separate active consent before using your image, video, or voice for marketing.
You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 9).
2. Lawful Bases for Processing
We process personal data under the following lawful bases:
Contract: To process and manage bookings, payments, and participation in Experiences.
Consent: For marketing communications, promotional use of photos/videos (where required), and non-essential cookies.
Legitimate Interests: To ensure safety, security, and operational efficiency (e.g., emergency contacts, group management).
Legal Obligation: To comply with immigration, tax, health, and safety requirements.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal data to:
Process and manage bookings and purchases (Experiences and Merchandise).
Communicate with you about trips, events, or support requests.
Personalize services and improve our platform.
Verify health and insurance information to ensure safe participation.
Send marketing communications (only where you have opted in).
Record and use photos/videos for marketing in line with Section 1.
4. Sharing of Information
We share data only as necessary:
Suppliers and Service Providers: Hotels, transport providers, activity hosts, and event organizers.
Payment Processors: To securely process payments.
Healthcare Providers, Insurers, and Local Authorities: Where required for safety, emergencies, or compliance.
Legal Authorities: Where required by law or to protect our rights.
Independent Suppliers may collect or use personal data (including media) under their own policies. FAMBUL GLOBAL does not control or accept liability for how Independent Suppliers process personal data, except as required by applicable law.
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to improve functionality, analyze usage, and deliver personalized content.
Essential cookies: processed on the basis of legitimate interest.
Non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising, social media): processed only with your active consent (clear affirmative action).

6. Data Retention
Passport and visa details: deleted within 30 days of trip completion unless required by law.
Health and insurance information: retained only until the end of the Experience, unless legally required longer.
Booking and transaction records: retained as needed for tax, accounting, and compliance.
Media Data: retained indefinitely unless you withdraw consent (see Section 9).
7. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encryption, access controls, vendor risk assessments, and staff training.
While no system is fully secure, we comply with the New York SHIELD Act and maintain standards equivalent to GDPR and other global frameworks.
8. Security Incidents and Breach Notification
If a data breach occurs, we will notify you and relevant regulators in accordance with applicable laws, including: New York General Business Law §899-aa, EU GDPR Articles 33–34, UK GDPR, and comparable global laws.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request deletion of your data.
Restrict or object to certain processing (including marketing and media use).
Withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal stops new uses but does not require recall of previously printed materials, already-produced digital media, or third-party reposts outside our control.

10. International Data Transfers
Because FAMBUL GLOBAL is headquartered in the United States, personal data collected from EU/UK residents will be transferred to and stored in the U.S.
We use approved safeguards:
EU/UK: Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA).
Other regions: Equivalent mechanisms recognized by local regulators.
By using our services, you acknowledge your personal data will be transferred to and stored in the United States.
11. Children’s Privacy
FAMBUL GLOBAL Experiences are generally restricted to participants aged 18 and over.
Where Independent Suppliers allow minors, they are responsible for obtaining verifiable parental/guardian consent and complying with applicable laws.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be posted here with a revised “Last Updated” date and, where material, communicated via email and/or a notice on the Platform.
13. Global Applicability
We apply this Privacy Policy consistently across all regions and will honor additional rights where required by local laws.
